Spring Fling at the Forum Shops!

My FAVORITE mall in Las Vegas is the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. It’s part shopping and part attraction (the fountains, the cobblestone streets, the sky ceiling!). It’s also the best mix of high end and affordable. You can drool over Mulberry bags and try on a thousand things at the three-story H&M! I was so honored to attend an event there recently with seven other bloggers/influencers and we had the MOST fun! Let me take you through this incredible day!

First up, I LOVE using the Valet Parking at the Forum Shops, they have several locations, my favorite is of course the VIP Valet (holla!) off Stan Malan Rd. The Forum Shops was so gracious to give me free Valet parking for life, but even when I forget my card (like I did with Kyle last week) I still use it, it’s $7 and worth it.

I walked into the Forum Shops to a beautiful sight – mimosas and breakfast pastries by the Fountain of Gods. Sustenance and a little time to catch up with the girls before we started our adventure.

This event was focused on four of the newer retailers at the Forum Shops and we started with Rimowa – a high quality luggage and travel accessory brand. I was blown away by their stuff – it’s classy and beautiful but it can take a beating! Besides round two of mimosas and the super cool Las Vegas sticker they had for each us they also let us go to town with a book of their stickers and decorate a piece of luggage! How many fashion bloggers does it take to decorate a suitcase? I think the eight of us did a pretty phenomenal job! Another favorite tidbit was the photo of a piece of luggage that had traveled the world: 2.1 million air miles, war zones, it had even survived a plane crash (the plane didn’t, the owner and luggage did!), and a letter from the owner who was sad to let it go, but donated it to Rimowa to display and purchased a new set.

Club Monaco was a new brand to me and OMG they have such gorgeous, high quality clothing and accessories! I loved the way their store was laid out and how the different color stories flowed throughout the store. There was a little surprise in the fitting room that made my day – four different lighting scenarios! Indoor, outdoor, nighttime and VEGAS! There were squeals all around when they rolled out a rack and told us we each got an outfit! I adored the pleated chiffon pants but ultimately went with that incredible jumpsuit!

Our next stop was Robert Graham, you may have seen their fabulous contrasting cuffed shirts on Cam in Modern Family! They do have a small women’s selection that is GORGEOUS but we spent most of our time drooling over the men’s items. From limited edition items, to all of the incredibly fun details I fell in love with this stuff! My husband dresses very conservatively for work; khakis and shirts embroidered with his company logo, but he loves fun shirts on the weekends so I took him back a few days after the event. We found they have tall sizes (YAY!) and we picked out this amazing shirt that will be his Father’s Day gift (a splurge of a gift, yes, but Kyle keeps his clothes FOREVER if I don’t ruin them in the wash, haha).

The last stop before lunch was RayBan! They are THE brand I think of for eyewear. I still have a pair of RayBan glasses that I got eight years ago. It was so fun checking out all the sunglass trends! What’s your favorite?!

After all of that we were starving and THRILLED when we were whisked away to Sushi Roku. They had an amazing demonstration with their chef who cut down a massive piece of tuna into its different types (from what we call “tuna” to the fattier pieces) and he showed us how to make a sushi roll! We got to see their new $40 four-course vegan menu which looks STUNNING. After that it was on to the feast – they kept bringing food, and we kept eating it! The pièce de résistance was dessert, when they brought it out we could only see cotton candy, but when they lit it on fire it revealed a red velvet cake with vanilla ice cream, strawberries and raspberries! SO GOOD! I cannot wait to take my family back.

Thank you SO much to the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace (Maureen and her incredible team!) for hosting us, Christie Moeller (stylist and fashion blogger extraordinaire) for inviting me, and to the incredible brands we got to visit: Rimowa, Club Monaco, Robert Graham, RayBan and Sushi Roku. It was an unforgettable day!

Just a few days later Kyle and I were back at the Forum Shops for a day date where we hit up Robert Graham (to pick out an amazing shirt for Kyle), Kate Spade (I tried on the most amazing pair of parrot earring!), Mephisto (Kyle got sandals), I tried on clothes at H&M and Abercrombie, visited the luggage piece we decorated at Rimowa, had lunch at Cheescake Factory, and a stop at our favorite cigar bar, Casa Fuente (best mojitos ever!). I was even back at Caesars Palace that evening when me and my parents went to see James Taylor at the Coliseum!

One last Forum Shops fun tip is to visit the Coach store for a custom leather tag (hang it from your keychain or purse!)! You choose from two sizes and many colors of leather tags, pick what you want to stamp on it, and then you can either do a blind emboss or choose a foil color. Then sit back and be amazed while one of their awesome employees works the machine and creates your masterpiece! I took my niece a few weeks ago and we had a blast! (perfect gift for the ladies in your life with unique names!)
