My husband had been coveting a Sleep Number bed for a while, reading reviews in Consumer Report magazine, plotting and planning, and trying to get me on board (I was happy with our $300 Amazon mattress!). Finally, when they had a sale knocking $200 off per mattress we went in with a plan. They usually have sales on holiday weekends!
The big secret is that we got TWO twin extra-long mattresses instead of a king size mattress. That alone would have saved us $200. But since it was $200 off PER mattress, we saved $200 TWICE! That made our total savings over buying a regular king size bed $600! Our grand total, with shipping, was exactly $1,000.42.
We went with the lowest level mattress, the c2 (which has awesome ratings from Consumer Report – check out this article), and then we added our own dual layer mattress topper with two inches of gel memory foam and two inches of fluffy fiber. The topper cost almost $200 on Amazon but, if we had gotten the next level of Sleep Number bed that has a built-in plush topper, we would have spent $1,000 more!
magnificent issues altogether, you just won a new reader.
What would you suggest in regards to your pput up that you just made a few days in the past?
Any certain?
